North Texas Real Estate
North Texas and especially the Dallas metro area and suburbs are growing by leaps and bounds, instead of what is being seen throughout the United States. This area of Texas has a strong economy and many wonderful homes that have not been hit by any type of real estate bubble burst. The most popular communities found in the North Texas real estate market include Plano, Frisco, Allen, McKinney, and Richardson.
Plano Texas
Plano Texas is located in the heart of Collin County. Plano is its own community and is located less than 20 minutes from Dallas. Plano Texas is home to Plano Independent School District, one of the most desirable school districts in the United States. The real estate market offers quality homes along with a strong economy and you will also find corporate headquarters for multiple global corporate headquarters and technology-related companies such as Ericsson, Nortel and also Frito-Lay, EDS and JC Penney to name a few. Families love the Plano area with its many recreational activities such as parks, bicycling trails, playgrounds, fishing and a beautiful nature preserve. Let's not forget to mention the NFL football league and the Dallas Cowboy Football Team, NBA's basketball team the Dallas Mavericks or the NHL hockey team, the Dallas Stars.
Frisco Texas
Frisco Texas is also home in both counties, Collin County and Denton County, and is considered a wealthy suburban community of Dallas. Frisco is home to several retail properties including Preston Road and Stonebriar Centre. Education at the Frisco Independent School District is very important to residents in Frisco Texas with schools that are listed as 3A along with higher educational opportunities found at the Dallas Baptist University. Along with a powerful economy and quality education, Frisco offers many wonderful and affordable homes in several styles and designs in the North Texas real estate market.
Allen Texas
To see Texas-style supersizing in action, look no further than Allen High School's new stadium: The $60 million project will welcome as many as 18,000 spectators when it opens for the fall season. When residents aren't cheering for the home team on Friday nights, they can often be found at the Allen Event Center, home to a minor league hockey team. And if your preferred method of exercise is walking from store to store, Allen is home to 5.5 million square feet of retail space. -- Elayna Rose
Allen Texas yet another great community found north of Dallas in Collin County. Allen has much to offer for the growing family, or for those that wish to retire in North Texas with all the amenities they deserve. Allen is home of two top education systems, Allen Independent School District with its 670 member award winning marching band and also the newer Lovejoy Independent School District. Allen Texas is where you'll also find the new minor league hockey team of the Allen Americans whose home is the Allen Arena. North of Allen on Stacy Road you will find the new Village at Allen, as the Village at Fairview which finds its home also on Stacy Road but on the north side. Bethany Road is home of Watter's Crossing, a wonderful new shopping plaza that is home to great dining, P F Changs, Brio, The Cheesecake Factory and many more including The Blue Fish.
McKinney Texas

Established in 1848, McKinney is one of northern Texas' oldest towns. Stroll around downtown, and you'll see cotton mills and feed stores transformed into hip boutiques and art galleries. The city offers plenty of housing options, from starter homes to old Victorians and "Texas-style" five-bedrooms. Low taxes have lured companies with white-collar jobs in technology and energy, a new hospital opened in July, and a conference center and hotel complex is in the works.

McKinney Texas is home in Collin County Texas and is a suburb to Dallas. McKinney offers several wonderful homes in the North Texas real estate market along with a strong growing economy and quality schools. As far as size, McKinney is just a tad bit smaller than its neighbor Plano, but has everything you would need to call McKinney home. McKinney is known for its LEED Platinum office building along with several other green buildings that have been built within the city. The city is home of the first sustainable school in all of Texas, Roy Lee Walker Elementary. As you can tell, McKinney is a city that believes in preserving all our natural resources as well as the integrity and well-being of our families.
